Inkiostro Bianco, in collaboration with Mapei, has created a revolutionary coating with a protective and decorative function - EQ-dekor. It is a wallpaper made of glass fibre with a bi-directional fabric structure, greater stability, efficiency and flexibility than traditional wallpapers.

Thanks to their enhanced technical properties, waterproofing and fire resistance, they can be used on surfaces where conventional wallpaper would not be suitable. Mapei glass fibre was developed as a structural component for the construction industry and aimed to reduce the risk of material separation in the event of an earthquake. Inkiostro Bianco came up with the idea of printing decorative elements on this material. This is how EQ-dekor was born. Thanks to the basic function of this material, this wallpaper has better abrasion resistance than other glass fibre products on the market, making it resistant to the weather, UV rays, abrasion and scratches.

The entire production process, from graphic design to printing with modern digital technologies that guarantee precise resolution even on a large scale, is carried out in the Inkiostro Bianco factory, ensuring EQ-dekor' s compliance with European Union health and environmental safety regulations.
