SENSE OF JUNE BY EVA STANEVIČA

Color, light and texture made up my feeling this month. Also the general mood of June in nature. Everything is so blooming, green, happy, and it seems even healing. The month with the longest day of the year, and everything seems bathed in light. A little rest and sun, a lot of vitamins and inspiration for work.

What is the first component you think of when you start working on a new object?

I think about the composition of the room, the light, client and about the functionality of the room. My projects differ from each other because I work for each specific customer, guided by feelings. I think about how a person will feel there and what he will do. To use my knowledge to add value to the quality of people's lives in the spaces I design as well. I work to make my projects as functional and comfortable as it can be, together with beauty and artistic.

How do architecture and design contribute changes in the environment and society?

A beautiful environment promotes well-being. When spaces inspire it affects all areas of life.

What other areas do you draw inspiration from?

It's nature for me. My hobby is dressage, one of the equestrian sports disciplines. Horses inspire me, sports keep me in shape, give me more strength for work. My hobby is also my connection with nature. I am also inspired by the sea, fashion, theater, painting, my corgi Kora and traveling. Ask to be able to give.

Which field or product would you be interested in if you had the opportunity to create product design? Why?

There is such an opportunity in every project, to work on the design of the manufactured furniture, it is very exciting. Especially in cooperation with good professionals, it is always a great pleasure.

What does a successful project mean for you?

One where you can enjoy both the communication with the client and the work process itself in all phases of the project. Working with good, professional craftsmen and suppliers. And one that results in a happy client and a happy designer.

Favorite stage of the project?

Photo session when everything is ready. But also the whole process as well.
